4D Synth LE 1.0 description
4D Synth LE is a musical instrument designed, from the ground up, to take advantage of the unique user interface of the iPhone and iPod touch. It allows the user to generate musical sounds that vary according to screen position and the tilt of the device.
The long dimension of the screen corresponds to the pitch of the note, and the short dimension of the screen corresponds to the volume (loudness) of the note. The tilt of the device controls the vibrato level and, when FM synthesis is activated in the settings, the modulation level.
A number of options are provided in the settings, including waveform type, delay, and modulation frequency ratio.
