Aura Soma Colors

Perhape you already run into these little glass bottles even if you are not interested in esotericism. Perhaps you just like, as me, hard edge painting and artists like Sylvie Fleury (whose installation "Aura Soma" from 2001 has inspired me to this application), Ellsworth Kelly, Guenther Foerg, Blinky Palermo, Josef Albers, Leon Polk Smith or Anton Stankowski and are rejoiced in beautiful color combinations.

"Aura Soma" ("Aura" latin for "air", "Soma" ancient greek for "body") is a color system developed by Vicky Wall. It contains 107 little bottles filled with colored oil and water. These non-mixing fluids are said to have a holistic impact on body, spirit and soul. Within a therapy one selects four bottles with his or her favorite color combinations for the following catagories:

1. Life-Task ("True Aura")
2. Challenge
3. Presence ("Here & Now")
4. Future
