aWake!Gently is an alarm and bedside (night stand) clock that will wake you as you are supposed to be woken...slowly and gently as nature intended.

As the alarm rings, the chosen alarm sound starts to play, quietly at first and rises to full volume over your set alarm duration (1 - 15 minutes)...thus allowing you to wake slowly and gently. aWake!Gently provides 10 professionally recorded, licensed, "ambient" nature sounds to awake to.

- Flashing second indicator (Off/On)
- 3 Dimmer Modes to set brightness of digits and background
- Auto-Dim Screen (after 20 seconds) On/Off with indicator
- Auto Lock Option - allow your phone to go to sleep (Off/On)

Alarm:

- 14 Alarm sounds to choose from (4 standard alarm sounds plus 10 "ambient" natural sounds including "Birdsong", "Waves", "Forest Rain", "Crickets", "Windchimes", "Frog Chorus", "Tibetan Chimes" and more
- Unique Alarm Clock settings per day of the week
- Alarm starts quitely and rises to full volume over your set alarm duration (1 - 15 minutes) - works even if Ring/Silent Switch is set to silent mode
- Alert allows you to turn off alarm or Snooze
- Snooze length can be set to 5 - 60 minutes
- While the alarm is in Snooze mode, the "AlarmClock" Icon Flashes
- Vibrate option
- Auto Snooze if alarm alert is not Stopped or Snoozed

Usage Tips:

* As the app needs to be running, it is recommended that you leave your phone plugged in.
- Set your required backlight brightness before launching
- Set Allow Auto-Lock to "No", if you want to be able to view the clock all night
- Turn Airplane Mode on (iPhone Settings) unless you want to receive Calls - plus also saves battery

Notes:

* Vibrate settings does not work on iPod Touch
- This is PRIMARILY an ALARM CLOCK app. As such a decision was made to ensure the alarm when ringing will be heard regardless of whether music is playing or whether the phone is switched to silent mode. Therefore no background music can be played whilst using aWake!SimplyPro BUT you will always hear the Alarm Sound!

Works with iPhone (both 2.5 and 3G) and iPod Touch 2nd Generation (1st generation requires external speaker).
Requires firmware v2.2 and above
