beatCal description
beatCal is a rhythm/stroke/beat/pulse calculator that you can use to either work out the rhythm/stroke/beat/pulse rate of something as beats per minutes, or can be used in training to set a rhythm or stroke rate.
Example uses include measuring:
* your pulse rate
- the stroke rate of a rowing squad
- the rhythm of some other event
In beat mode the calculator issues a beep, flash and/or vibration at a pre-set interval (set as beats per minute) so you can train (row, walk, run etc.) at the set rate. You can also play music as you train using the iPod function and still follow set the beat rate.
