CSV Lite

This is the Lite version of CSV Touch. It is limited to one file at a time, and it only shows the first 75 items in the file. Note that if the file contains more than 75 items, even though only 75 are shown, all items are read & handled, so in case you have a largish file, performance will be them same as for CSV Touch. Otherwise it works exactly like CSV Touch, i.e.:

Do you have a database, library or collection which you need to read and search in on-the-go, even when you dont have web access? If you do, this might be the application for you. It can read CSV files, a file format which almost all databases and applications like Excel or Numbers can export to. CSV Touch treats each row in the file as a separate item. These items can then be sorted & searched.

So start carrying your DVD and CD library, your book collection, your wine testing notes, or any other database, library or list with you!

MPORTANT:
To get the files onto the iPhone/iPod, you must be able to access them using a standard WWW address, like "http://www.mysite.com/myfile.csv" or "ftp://username:password@myserver.com/myfile.csv". However, once the file has been read, it is stored locally on the iPhone/iPod Touch, and no further web access is necessary. If you change anything in the CSV file(s) at the WWW address, it is trivial to download the new version from the device since the address is remembered for each file.

If you have MobileMe, you can of course put your files there and download them to CSV Touch (see http://www.ozymandias.se for exact instructions about MobileMe usage).
