Praise & Worship recording artist Don Dodds has introduced a different sound than the current sound in Christian Hip Hop.
On December 6th, 2008 at 3:00 am God gave Don Dodds a vision to create a music project as a tool to be used to save souls. The appropriately titled album, Detour, contains hip hop, rock, calypso, reggae influences delivering a broad array of contemporary Christian influences.
The first song from the album is a high energy, driving beat that invites the listener to be unashamed of Jesus and "do that Jesus Jump". "Jesus Jump" is a celebration for everyone, young and old, to jump for Jesus.
On May 28th, 2009 the recently released video for Jesus Jump garnered more than 100,000 views in on YouTube in the first 2 days.
