DSM-IV-REF LITE

DSM-IV-REF LITE is a fully-functional app. Now, psychologists and medical professionals can have access to all of the codes contained within the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders Fourth Edition Text Revision (DSM-IV-TR) right on the iPhone without having to search through bulky manuals. The DSM-IV REF LITE is a simple, but useful tool that will complement any profession in the education, health, or medical field.

Features:

* Browse through the 16 Diagnostic Classes (Mood Disorders, Eating Disorders, Personality Disorders, etc.) and Sub-Classes in a drill-down menu format.

* Sort the diagnostic codes by alphabetical listing or by numerical listing, with an indexed table to facilitate quick lookup of specific diagnoses and codes.

* Please note that most descriptions are visible in the LITE version. However, some disorders with longer descriptions may be truncated. You will be able to view each disorders full name and subtype in the full version.

Planned features for possible full-version or future update:

* Possible diagnostic Criteria that clinicians use to diagnose specific disorders (pending approval from the American Psychiatric Association, due to copyright laws).
- A search function.
- Ability to save your most frequently used codes to a "Favorites list."

If the APA prohibits the listing of diagnostic criteria, the additional features will be added as a free update available to current users. Thanks for your patience.
