Dynolicious Log Box

Dynolicious Log Box is a data logging application which allows hobbyists, researchers, engineers, and enthusiasts to use the iPhone or iPod Touch as a portable data collection device. DLB provides simple recording of accelerometer and location services data, and convenient access to this data emailed to you in a variety of formats. Powered by the same engine as the critically-acclaimed Dynolicious, DLB provides the utmost in terms of accuracy, performance, and ease of use.

The applications for DLB are limited only by ones imagination. The following are some examples:
- Record laps at Track Day to later analyze your cars handling characteristics
- Take DLB to the amusement park and figure out how many Gs your favorite roller-coaster pulls

Dynolicious Log Box provides the following features:
- Records accelerometer readings at configurable rates up to 100 samples per second
- Records location information (GPS on 3G iPhone, triangulation on original iPhone)
- Displays current accelerometer reading, GPS/location accuracy, and sample rate
- Allows naming and management of data sets on device
- Exports data via email in a variety of formats (KMZ, KML, TXT, HTML, GPX, CSV)

Note: Location information is device dependent. 3G iPhone uses GPS positioning, original iPhone uses cell tower triangulation. Exporting data requires a network connection.
