eCards

eCards is a multi-purpose and versatile application that - as the name suggests - can be used to create and send eCards for a variety of occasions. An eCard can be a business card or a Christmas card or even a wedding invitation card! The eCards application allows us to enter text in three boxes on the screen and upload a logo. The logo can be any image from the iPhone photo album. The logo and the text can then be moved around the screen and placed as we like it. We can choose to have only a single line of text and the logo or no text at all. The eCard can be saved to the photo album and we can use this card or email it. In addition to these features, we can reset eCards at any time while using the application to begin right from the start and also exit the application to return to the iPhone home screen. For ease of use and good looking cards, eCards must be used in the Landscape mode. Instructions on using the eCards application are given below:-

Instructions to Use eCards:-

The eCards application essentially has two modes in which it operates -
1. Edit mode - in this mode text on the screen can be edited and a logo can be chosen from the iPhone photo album
2. Drag mode - in this mode the text and the logo can be moved around and placed on the screen

Note: eCards is launched only in the Edit mode.

When eCards is launched, three text areas, each containing three lines of text are visible. The text that is visible on the screen can be edited simply by clicking on it and then entering the text we desire. In addition to the text that is seen, eCards has six buttons on the toolbar that is always visible on the bottom of the screen. These six buttons are:-
1. Reset button - On pressing this button, eCards will be reset and all changes made to the eCards application will be discarded. This button can be pressed at any time during the use of eCards.
2. Done/Edit button - In the Edit mode this button is titled Done and in the Drag mode this button is titled Edit. Pressing this button makes the application alternate between Edit and Drag modes.
3. Save button - This button is enabled only in the Drag mode. Clicking on this mode saves the eCard to the SavedPhotosAlbum.
4. Logo button - Clicking this button allows us to select an image from the saved photo album to be used as the logo.
5. Exit button - On pressing this button eCards will exit to the iPhone home screen.
6. Help/Return button - Clicking this button displays a help file on screen. While the help file is being shown to us, this button is titled Return and on clicking this Return button we are taken back to where we were before clicking the Help button.
