The FirePlace app is perfect for those wanting to relax by themselves, create instant ambiance on a date, tell creepy ghost stories with a group of friends, or roast smores.

Choose from both device orientations: Portrait view is great for running while docked, while Landscape view gives the best overall experience.

Play your favorite songs via the iPod of your device, launch FirePlace, and enjoy YOUR music while admiring the blaze.

The application comes with sound... a perfect accompanying crackle. If you like, you can turn off FirePlaces sound feature to enjoy the fire in silence or with your music! Left over from the holiday season are the six optional holiday music tracks that you can play while you relax and enjoy the fire!

Please Note:

Sound:
The fireplace crackle will not be heard over loudish music that you play from your iPod. Please make sure that your volume switch is set to On or the sounds will not play. If you are on a first gen iPod Touch, the sound can only be heard with headphones or external speakers.

Device Crashing/Freezing:
Fireplace has been known to freeze on rare occasions. This is due to low memory available on your device, which can happen from time to time.

*** If your iPhone/iPod is crashing/freezing when running FirePlace (or any other app), simply power off your device by holding down the button on the top of your device for 2-3 seconds and restart. Occasionally the iPhone/iPods run low on system memory causing memory-intensive apps to crash, and rebooting clears this up.

If you are installing the app for the first time, it is suggested that you restart your device after installation.
