This is an iPhone implementation of an old board game, known under various names such as "Hare and Hounds" or the "French Military Game". It has been featured in Scientific American and other game and puzzle books.
This little game has simple rules, but unexpected depth.

The whole interest of the game is that no matter what side you play the computer usually seems to win! How can you lose most of the time whether you are playing Gold or Red??
