gogoNavi Japanese ↔ English Dictionary 1.2

Fast and easy to use dictionary for iPhone and iPod Touch.

語語Navi is a Japanese to English, English to Japanese Dictionary, that features:

◆ Fast, offline search (no Internet connection necessary!)
◆ A large database of over 150,000 entries from the EDICT project
◆ Search by Kanji, kana or english translation
◆ Automatic language detection while typing
◆ Intelligent result ranking showing most important words at the top

Hint: Include to when searching for verbs, e.g. searching for to walk will return 歩く

Instructions:
▪ Tap the search bar.
▪ Enter either English or Japanese text, the system will detect the input language automatically.
▪ Press the search button.
▪ To bookmark an entry press the plus-button, already bookmarked entries will show a checkmark.
▪ The most recent searches are displayed in the history tab. Touch a recent item to search for it again. Tap the trash can to clear all recents.
▪ Manage your favorite words in the favorites tab. Touch edit to delete or reorder entries. Tap the trash can to clear all favorites.
▪ HINT: Enable the chinese handwriting keyboard under preferences (general-international-keyboards) to input kanji that you do not know the reading of.
▪ NOTE: Romaji input of Japanese words is not supported.
