Note 1: We have had customers complain about the screen going black while using GPS Kit. This is because the proximity sensor is on so that the screen goes off when you put it in your pocket to save battery life. To turn off this feature off go to the settings menu on the maps page.

Note 2: GPS Kit does not provide turn by turn directions. It is designed to be a recreational outdoors app. If this is what you are looking for then we recommend the upcoming TomTom app as a companion to GPS Kit.
