GritPix
GritPix Ranking & Summary
GritPix description
GritPix takes a picture using the iPhone camera and then scratches it, adds film grain, and then turns up the contrast to blast out lights and white areas. Pictures you take will have an impressionist feel to them, but with a harsh gritty edge.
To use the application you can either take a picture in the application, or choose images from your own Camera Roll in your Photos. The picture will be saved to your regular Camera Roll where you can email it, send it to your computer using iPhoto, or whatever! You can take pictures in either Portrait or Landscape orientation.
To apply the GritPix filter:
1. Choose either an image from your "album" or take a picture from your "camera" in "Capture Mode" (see bottom icons for modes).
2. Press the "Apply GritPix" button in "Edit Mode" to apply the filter to your image. You can press this as many times as you like, and even if you dont like the effect, you can undo your last change by pressing the "undo" button. Please wait about 4 seconds after pressing "Apply GritPix" on large images.
3. If you like the final image, go into "Save Mode" and press the "save" button. Please wait for the "Save" button to say "Done" before exiting the program.
All images will appear in your Camera Roll.
