Hanoi 2 x 4 1.0

Hanoi 2 x 4 is a two stack version of Tower of Hanoi, the classic disk stacking puzzle. To solve the puzzle, the player must switch the positions of the stacks. As in the classic puzzle, only one disk may be moved at a time. The disk moved can only be placed on a larger disk or on an empty peg. Disks of each color can move among three of the four pegs. Two of the pegs are shared by both stacks and the other two pegs each take only disks that match the color of the peg. When six disk stacks are selected, the minimum number of moves to complete the puzzle is 189. The game proceeds in seesaw fashion with longer and longer series of moves that alternate between colors. It concludes in reverse seesaw fashion with shorter and shorter such series of moves.
