HotPaw inTuna A440 is a free strobe tuner for just one note, Concert A, commonly 440 Hz, using the microphone on your iPhone for sound input. Many professionals use strobe tuners because they assist with far more precise and rapid tuning than needle indicators.

The concert A reference pitch used by inTuna A440 is adjustable by plus/minus 10 Hz.

Use on an iPod touch (2nd generation) requires that you have a suitable microphone plugged into the headset jack.

Please note that the A string on a standard guitar is normally tuned to 220 Hz; so an A440 strobe tuner is not suitable for tuning any open guitar strings
