user-requested new features including PDF,
in-app email, WiFi, and much more!

JotNot is a standalone application that allows you
to use your iPhone as a document scanner. You
can use JotNot to process your images of
whiteboards, receipts, and notes, making them
easier to read, print, and share with others. JotNot
can save your scan as a PDF, JPEG, or PNG, allowing
you to attach it to an email, save it into your photo
library, or download it over WiFi.

pack the power of a scanner into your pocket! This
JotNot can be used for saving and tracking expense
receipts; as a document scanner; as way to capture,
save, and email whiteboards; or simply as a way to
save and share paper notes. If you use paper to-do
lists JotNot can save those notes helping you Get
Things Done (GTD)! JotNot can also be used as an
image processor for other other applications such
as Evernote, or for photo sharing sites like Flickr
and Picassa.

Using JotNot is easy. Just follow these four simple
steps:

1) Take a picture of a receipt, whiteboard,
document, or note; alternatively you can import
one from your photo library.

2) Drag the corners of the blue rectangle aligning
them with the corners of your document; the blue
area will be saved. (HINT: you can touch anywhere
on the screen to drag the nearest corner, which
will become highlighted red!)

3) Click "Process" to enhance the image.

4) You will be shown a preview of the enhanced
image. Click "Save" and you will be give a choice
on how to save the enhanced image. Choose
"Return to Main" to delete the enhanced image
without saving.

You are done--its that simple. Here are a couple
of tips to get the best quality scans:

* Make sure the document is flat
- If you have a non-3GS iPhone, because of the fixed
focus camera, hold the phone at least 12 inches
away to get a sharp image.
- Ensure that the document is well lit
- Use black and white mode when you can
- If the text is still too faint, try maxing out the
contrast
