LedOthel 1.0

LedOthel is a retro LED version of the classic strategy game of Reversi or Othello as it is sometimes known. This is a fantastic game that is simple to learn but is difficult to master! You play as green and the iPhone/iPod touch plays as red.

The object of the game is to trap your opponents LEDs (red) between your own (green) either horizontally, vertically or diagonally. When you do this, all your opponents trapped LEDs turn green and become yours. If you create more than one row with your piece placement, all trapped opponents LEDs will change! Throughout the game, pieces constantly change sides until either no one can go, all spaces are taken or all of one players pieces are gone! Sounds easy? Give it a try!

Who moves first?
You do. You are green.

How do I play?
You play a piece by touching an LED on an unoccupied square. This puts one of your piece into that square. The idea is to trap one or more opponents pieces between two of your pieces. Those opponents pieces then change color to become your pieces.

What if I get stuck and I cant move?
If you cant move, your opponent gets to move again.

How do I win?
When both you and your opponent cannot play another piece, or if every square on the board is filled, the game is over. The side with the most pieces is the winner. Your iPhone/iPod touch will count for you.

What if I need help?
Just wait about 15 seconds and your iPhone will give you a hint!
