Marketeer 1.0

Marketeer is a shopping list application that allows you to:

* Create and manage multiple shopping lists for multiple dates.

* Create, edit, rename, delete, hide and re-arrange items.

* Assign one or more units to each item.

* Create, edit, rename, delete and hide categories

* Create, edit, rename and delete units of measure.

* View statistics that show monthly and daily totals for items you have bought for each day and each month.

* Send shopping lists to your friends via e-mail that includes the list name, date, items you have bought and items you still need. This feature can be used to ask a friend or relative to do your shopping for you or to report back to someone on your progress. You can also add your own text to these messages which will be sent or saved in your outbox, depending on wether or not you have a network connection available.

* A price comparison calculator to compare the unit cost of similar types of items. The result shows which item is cheaper or if both cost the same. The unit cost of each item and a percentage indicating how much cheaper one item is than the other.

* A History section that shows old lists that you can open or delete individually. You also have the option to clear the history.

* An incremental search feature in items and list management screens that find items for you as you type.

* Navigate search results or categories in long lists of items. Buttons change to search navigation buttons while searching and change to category navigation buttons when browsing a list or items.

* Read embedded instructions that explain how to use every feature in the application. This includes a table of contents where you can browse all the features in the application. Nearly every screen has a book icon where you can view instructions that explain how to use the features available on that screen.

* Hide categories and items in the list of items to choose from to limit the list to only items or categories that interest you, without having to delete them. You have the option to show all items in the list of items to choose from or you can set the item or category visibility at any time.

* Reset the database to restore it to its initial contents: This reverts everything back to the way it was when the application was first installed. You can play around with all the features in the program and revert back to the original content. Resetting the database will also clear all your shopping lists, history and all additions or changes made.

* View an overview of each shopping list showing how many days and months you have left to buy the items, the number of items bought, the number of total items and a progress bar for each shopping list. This information is shown when choosing a list to open, when going shopping, viewing the history or sending a list by email.

* Save a list when accidentally navigating away from the edit or create list screens. For those days youre in a hurry and create or edit a list and forget to save it.

* Quickly create new shopping lists by using the streamlined search feature. It searches as you type and clears the search text for you when you tap an item.

* A streamlined interface to set quantities and units for all items in your shopping lists.
