MultiLingualFlashCard Ranking & Summary
MultiLingualFlashCard description
Need to learn a new language? Master new technical terms? MultiLingualFlashCard can help you get there. MultiLingualFlashCard is an application that helps you improve your vocabulary, whether youre learning Chinese, Portuguese, Legalese, or Japanese. The vocabulary lists support multiple translations for each term, so the same lists can be used to study many different languages, whether those languages are foreign or technical. The languages are whatever you want to define: English, Korean, German, Medical English, Legal Terms, etc... You create a vocabulary list with the words you want to learn, and can add to the list at any time. Keywords can be associated with each word in the vocabulary list so that studying can be focused on a particular set of related words (for example, buildings, places, respiratory diseases, etc.).
There is an initial demo vocabulary list to show what can be done with the application. This demo list can be modified. If you need to get the original demo list back, just delete the list and next time the application starts it will recreate it.
Note: You can also change settings in the devices Settings area. Most of the settings are the same as can be changed inside the application.
There are 3 "screens" to the application:
1) The main study screen that shows you the keywords that have been associated with words in the vocabulary list and each vocabulary words value in the current native language and the language to be learned.
2) The Settings screen where you can change the vocabulary list that is being used, switch between study mode and review mode, change whether to show the native language or the language being learned on the study screen, toggle sequential versus random access, and select the current native language and the language being Learned.
3) The Vocabulary List screen shows the words in the vocabulary list. The list shows the words defined for the native language. If you select a word you can see a translation for each language associated with the list: no value will be shown if the particular word has no translation specified for a given language. If you click on the detail arrows on that screen, you can see and modify the keywords associated with that word.
Features:
Study mode, where you can either test yourself on the current native language or the current language being learned.
Review mode that shows both languages being studied.
Sequential or random access through the vocabulary list.
Limiting the words that are being studied by selecting a keyword.
Flicking left goes backward in the list, Flicking right goes forward in the list: In random mode there isnt any difference.
