Oxfire Manor Book II:The Clash of Good And Evil
by Scott Winfield
Chad Hilton continues his mission to rid Pilot Cove of the Oxfire Clan. In a vision, he meets up with a little girl that catches his curiosity. Zelda talks of the whole mission of Oxfire Clan. This intrigues him as he continues to listen to her. Suddenly, she turns into a woman with a tattoo of two serpents wrapped around a pole and facing each other. In a split second, her skull splits and half of her body falls to the ground. A huge serpent with bright yellow eyes appears in front of him. Zelda discloses that she is the serpent of the tree of good and evil. After years of putting his job first, Chad decides to pursue his true feelings for Lexi. He discovers that he may have taken on a mission that he will not be able to complete. Due to the gift of free will, Lexi and Chad are faced with travelling back in time to stop the birth of the Oxfire Curse. They make every effort to erase the evil Adam and Eve from existence.
After finally arriving back home, they find two felines guarding the grounds. They are told to nurture the Garden of Eden and never disclose its true location. Lexi runs to the bathroom and discovers that she is pregnant. Looking in the mirror, she discovers a large man with eyes of blood and big fangs. He smiles evilly at her and then vanishes without a trace.
The theme of Oxfire Manor is a classic paranormal romance story. It takes you on a wild ride. The characters of this work of fiction assist the creator in closing the door to a group of people they have corrupted the true power of creation. They are rewarded handsomely for their efforts.
About Author:
Scott Winfield, born in Butte Montana on September 1, 1967 and raised in a small town outside of Butte called Whitehall. While reading literary masterpieces such as the Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald or 20,000 leagues under the sea by Jules Verne, Scott pulled inspiration for his own form of writing.
He is not your normal stereotypical novelist, his strongest ability is to take historical facts and mix them with fantasy, conventional crime solving and paranormal ingredients.
Mark Klaas of the Auburn Reporter has described Scott’s (at the time writing under the pen name of Jesse Garon) writing as a mixture of Clive Barker and the horror master himself Stephen King. In fact, Mr. King has some strong competition in the genre of Horror/Suspense.
No one can classify or stereotype his writings into one genre. The majority of the books written by Scott contain historical elements for all of the science fiction and fantasy lovers out there. With bone chilling, attention-grabbing suspense, his writings would also serve as good suspense/horror novel. For the crime fighters out there, his books could serve as a good true crime and mystery novel. He also has a strong talent to write erotica; Scott has the ability to portray his characters in an adult oriented, poetic and artistic way. Being a published poet at age 12 has provided him with that gift.
Scott currently resides in Auburn Washington with his wife Shirlie and his spoiled domestic tabby named “Sputnik” and his daughter Charity.
