PassAlong 1.0

PassAlong enables you to send contact information from your address book via text message, e-mail and Twitter.

Sharing contact information using built-in iPhone functionality is limited to e-mail with a vCard attachment, but PassAlong makes it quick and painless to send one or more phone numbers (or anything else in your address book) from multiple contacts to someone who doesnt have an iPhone.

With PassAlong, you can select whichever bits of information you like from as many people as you like and then send it all at once.

The selected contact info is copied to the pasteboard as plain text for easy use with Messages, Mail or the Twitter client of your choice.

After selecting the information you would like to share, tap Done and then tap a shortcut button to launch Messages, Mail or your preferred Twitter client. Your preferred Twitter client can be set by tapping Options on the main screen. Tweetie, TwitterFon and Twitterrific are currently supported.

If your favorite Twitter client is not supported or you want to send the information another way, you can! After tapping Done, simply quit PassAlong by tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPod touch. You can then paste the copied information into any app you choose.
