Peterson Field Guide to Warblers 1.0

Warblers are some of the most colorful and beautiful birds in North America with equally interesting songs. But, even though they may be easy to hear or see, they are not always easy to identify. The Peterson Field Guide to Warblers takes all the fully colored images, maps and information about Wood and Olive warblers from the most recent edition of the well-known Peterson Field Guide to Birds of North America, adds crystal clear sounds of their songs and calls, includes image and birdsong quizzes for all the birds, a search function and easy navigation to simplify learning about, comparing and identifying Warblers.

Here’s what you get:

• Beautifully drawn original Peterson full color images with identifying arrows for all 57 Warblers from the new edition of the Peterson Field Guide to Birds of North America (published by Houghton Mifflin) - all images are pinchable for greater detail

• Many images include the Fall Warbler phase in full color and on the same page for easy comparison with the colors of the Spring phase

• Up to 60 seconds of brilliant bird songs for 50 of the birds – with several different selections of sounds and songs for each bird

• Quizzes to test your knowledge and help you learn – either sounds only or assorted sounds and images together. This is an excellent tool to help you learn to identify Warblers visually as well as by their songs

• The ability to browse birds by Family or search the entire list of all 57 Warblers using a typing search function

• Information in the Family headers which gives distinguishing information about the specific Family type to help you with identification

If you do not hear any sounds, dont despair! Please check the mute button on the side of your iPhone or Touch to be certain it is not muted and check your settings to be sure the sound settings are set high enough to hear the sound! Most iPhones and Touches seem to have the sound volume set to mute or very low at the factory, so avoid audio disappointment and get those sound settings up!
