Phrase Party! is a popular "Hot Potato" phrase party game in which players take turns guessing the phrase that appears on screen.

The concepts of Phrase Party! are very similar to the game Catch Phrase™.

Gather a party of Four or more players into two teams to begin.

Once you start, players will take turns trying to describe the phrase that appears on screen to their teammates. When one of your teammates guesses the phrase correctly, pass the iPhone on to someone from the other team so they can describe the next phrase to their team members. When the timer buzzes, the team that is trying to describe a phrase is the loser and the other team gets a point.

Phrase Party! is a great party game to play with a group of your friends on any occasion. Its also a great game for passing time on roadtrips!

Choose phrases from any mix of the 9 different categories containing over 10,000 words:
-The World
-Sports and Games
-Places
-Entertainment
-Science and Technology
-Food
-College Humor (Contains some alcohol and drug references)
-Sayings
-Custom (entered by you)
-Everything!

Customize your game with any of these great settings:
- Play with up to 4 teams
- Customize Timer Length
- Customize Team Names
- Customize Points per game
- Optional Visual Timer
- Add Custom Phrases

This app does contain alcohol and drug references in the "College Humor" category, however you can easily turn off phrases from this category via the advanced category selection screen.

USERS: To clarify, here is how you use custom phrases.

Custom phrases will be loaded along with the Everything list. There is no button to play with Custom phrases only from the main category selection screen, instead go to the advanced category selection screen where you can choose to load only custom phrases if you like. This is intentional.
