Prospector

Prospector lets you pan for gold out of your photos, just like prospectors of the Gold Rush days. Only now, instead of joining the wagon train, you move around grains of sand simply by panning your iPhone or iPod Touch. The fun begins when you choose a photo from your album, and use it as a shadow template.

The sands twinkle in different colors based on the shadow values of the photo. Pan more carefully and some of the sands will stick, making beautiful patterns of your own out of the photo!

Here are some tips:

-Photos with contrasting images tend to work best as templates. For example, a profile of a person silhouetted by sky will make wonderful patterns.
-You can adjust shadow value settings, different background colors, or change the grain size.
-To capture a screen image, hold down the home and the power buttons together.
