CUSTOM SOUNDS
Ive added a bunch of custom sounds for notifications so you wont have to hear the default SMS sound if you dont want to. My personal favorite is "Golf Swing". Theres even a "None/Vibrate" option so you can leave Push News alerts on all the time without having to worry about untimely chimes.

SIMPLE SUBSCRIPTION
Subscribing to a new services push notifications is as simple as flipping a switch. When a notice comes in, with a swipe and a tap you can go straight to the whole article. In the next update, Im going to streamline that down to a single tap or swipe to open the article in Safari.

AS MANY AS YOU WANT
Each alert is prefixed with the news source, so a push alert from CNN will say "CNN: And the message will go here". This way you can subscribe to as many sources as you want and still know where pushes are coming from.

NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES, EVER
Each news source is free and you can subscribe to as many or as few as you want. There will never be a monthly service charge for this app and since push notices are included in your data plan, you wont be charged for them either. In other words, the app price is all youll ever pay.

LABOR OF LOVE
This app really is a labor of love for me. After using it for a while, I cant live without it, and so I want it be as perfect as it can be. In the next few updates Ill be expanding the list of services you can subscribe to, making it faster to load up the full story after getting a push (each story will open in Safari with only one touch), placing a badge on the Push News icon to tell you how many alerts youve missed, and adding a snooze feature that will let you turn off updates during a specific time of day. :) Ive even got a few other things in the works that are too hush hush to talk about now. THINGS TO KNOW
- Push notices use about the same amount of battery as a text message; too many will drain your battery faster than youre used to.
- OS 3.0 or higher is required for Push Notifications. When the app first launches, you must accept the request to send push notices or we wont be able to send them to you.
- Sounds can be set from within your iPhone or iPod Touchs Settings app.
