Quick SMS

QuickSMS allows to you to send a text message with 3 simple touches. If you have ever tried to write a text message while driving you have realized how unsafe that can be, QuickSMS makes it possible to send a text message quickly while you are in the car, in a meeting or you just want to save money then this application is for you.

QuickSMS text messages are FREE because they use what is referred to as a SMS Gateway. That allows the text message to be sent via an email. You can learn more about how a SMS Gateway works on Wikipedia.

You can add your own pre-defined text messages or use one of the existing messages provided. Simple click the "+" button to add your own messages. Slide your figure on an existing row to "Delete" a canned message.

Travel abroad? QuickSMS will work from anywhere in the world as long as you have internet connectivity i.e you can open Safari and browse websites. More detailed instructions on how to setup when traveling abroad can be found on the website.

HOW TO USE:
Step 1: Select a pre-defined message
Step 2: Select the contact who you want to send the SMS to
Step 3: Select their carrier
If you turn on the mail relay server the message will be sent. (iPhone Settings->QuickSMS, enable mail relay server)

Step 4: QuickSMS will launch the iPhone built in email app for you to send the message.
