Satellite Sliderule description
Satellite Sliderule is temporarily free on the AppStore. As the features progress we will begin selling it. Get it for free while you can!
This application emulates a mechanical slide rule used to find the look (elevation and azimuth) angles towards a satellite in Geostationary Orbit. Just place the cross marker over the desired subsatellite point (projection of the satellite onto the equator) and use the elevation and azimuth curves in order to find the look angles.
Curves are drawn in 10 degree increments. The "circular" curves represent the elevation angle in degrees. The other curves represent the azimuth angle.
