States of the Union

This application contains the text of each of the State of the Union addresses and messages for each President of the United States, all the way back to George Washington.

The text can be browsed hierachically (by selecting a president, and then a year), sequentially (forward and back, using arrow buttons), or directly by year (by selecting a year using jump wheels).

An advanced search engine allows searching by phrase, or by requiring all of a list or any of a list of terms to be present.

An additional option allows the results to be displayed graphically in bar graph format, allowing you to see which issues were of primary concern at various points in U.S. history.

Although no network connection is required to browse or search the text, if you have a connection available you can use your devices built-in mail application to send text via email.
