Surf Log

Surf Log is a neat utility that lets you keep a log of all your surf sessions; what the conditions were like, which board you used and which break you surfed. Designed for surfers, and just as useful for surf kayakers, bodyboarders, and many other wave based sports!

Define your boards, the breaks you surf, and when you get out of the water create a new log entry. Record information such as wave size, swell size, wave period, wind strength, wind direction and a bunch of other stuff. Add a photo and give it a rating. Browse your surf log by board, area and break.

By rating your surf sessions, Surf Log builds up a picture of your surfing success by displaying average ratings for areas, breaks and boards, providing session counts and total durations. How much time have you racked up on that old mal? Whats the average rating of your sessions at Mavericks? Which area do you surf the most? Surf Log will tell you!

Fed up of inaccurate on-line surf forecasts? No forecast available for your local breaks? Your first free update to Surf Log will include the Wave Finder feature. When you want to go surfing simply enter the current conditions (usually obtained from your local wave buoy) and Surf Log will give you an indication of which break is most likely to provide a good wave based on your own surfing history and ratings. Importantly, this will be based on how *you* rate waves, not how someone else rates waves!
