The Admirable Crichton: A Play by J. M. Barrie

“The Admirable Crichton” is a play written by J. M. Barrie in 1902 which explores the class system in late Victorian Britain society. It tells the story of an aristocratic family shipwrecked on a remote island. The familys butler, Crichton, naturally rises to a leadership role during their stay.

The play was performed in London and on Broadway in the early twentieth centery. It has been adapted several times for television.
HOW TO USE THE EBOOK:
You can read through the text with the following commands:
+When reading an act, swipe to the left to go to the next page.
