The Eyes of my Brother, Forever description
This novel tells the story of Virata, a warrior in ancient India, who, in the heat of battle, discovers his own humanity. A seeker of truth, he leaves behind the path of violence in search of justice, then turns toward a life of austerity, only to find peace, at last, in service toward his common man.
The book, originally published in 1922 in German, was written by Austrian-born author and humanist Stefan Zweig. It was newly translated in 2008 under the auspices of IlluminationSoft, Inc. to make it available to a larger audience.
