The Jungle Book - Rudyard Kipling Ranking & Summary
The Jungle Book - Rudyard Kipling description
The Jungle Book (1894) is a collection of stories written by Rudyard Kipling.
The tales in the book are fables, using animals in an anthropomorphic manner to give moral lessons.
The best-known of them are the three stories revolving around the adventures of an abandoned man cub Mowgli who is raised by wolves in the Indian jungle. The most famous of the other stories are probably "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi", the story of a heroic mongoose, and "Toomai of the Elephants", the tale of a young elephant-handler.
This ebook contains the original Jungle Book. A version to appear soon will contain the Second Jungle Book.
Also, an improved reader allows easy page up/page down, in addition to automatic save/load of the last opened chapter and position; more than everything you could wish from a pocket ebook reader always at hand.
