Trips - Travel Manager with TripIt & Flight Status 2.0

Trips is a powerful travel manager for the iPhone that is a pleasure to use.

When you travel, there is lot of information you carry with you. This includes information about your Flights, Car Rental, Hotel, Train, Cruise, Bus reservations, Dinner, Meeting appointments etc which contains info like confirmation numbers, addresses, contact numbers, website information etc on your trip. This application brings together all this information with an elegant and intuitive user interface.

Trips integrates with TripIt, a powerful online travel itinerary and trip planner. If you provide your TripIt account information, Trips downloads your complete trip information (upcoming and previous trips) and displays in a very intuitive user interface.

To enter data you just forward your confirmation emails from flights, hotels, car rentals, cruise, dinner bookings, train reservations etc to plans@tripit.com and the information will be available for download in minutes without having to enter the details manually on to your phone. The application includes a power flight status and tracking component. It tracks flights form over 1200 Airlines and 4300+ Airports around the world. It include maps for flights flying to/from US. This will soon be extended to offer worldwide flights. The application can check the status of almost any passenger flights worldwide.

The application contains contact information of over 85 major hotel chains and 20+ major car rental companies.

In the current version, youll not be able to make changes to the Trips downloaded from TripIt. Your Trips created in the Trips application will not be synced to TripIt. In this version, we just download the Trips from TripIt. We plan to enhance this functionality in coming updates.
