1. Why not use HTTP(WEB) mode?

As you known, many application use HTTP server(Web Mode) to host the service, of course you can upload or download file with it. But if you want upload of download thousands of files, or create a folder, you will find you cant got it.

2. How to access my data on any OS ?
Just use FileZilla, you can download it at "http://filezilla-project.org" for Linux, Windows and Mac OS X, its free.

3. Max OS X user for readonly access.
You can just use "Finder", "Finder > Go > Connect To Server, Server Address: ftp://ServerIPAddress:Port".
Of course, you can use Firefox + FireFTP, or any stand ftp client too.

4. Can I use another FTP Client ?

Yes, you can use any stand FTP Client to access your data, because We build a stand FTP Server.
