W&M-Words & Mines

Words & Mines (WAM) combines two classic puzzles (Word search and minesweeper) into a single entertaining game.

First it is a word search puzzle where you identify hidden words by swiping your finger across the word from the beginning letter to the end letter. Second, WAM is also minesweeper where all the letters belonging to hidden words are mines. Tapping on these letters is like stepping on a mine--you loose the game. Uncover cells without mines by tapping on letters that (you hope!) are not part of any of the hidden word. Uncovered cells help reveal outlines of hidden words.

The object of the game is to identify all the hidden words in the letter grid without stepping on a mine. Since the puzzles are generated, you are assured endless number of puzzles.

Puzzles are displayed in three sizes and you can either choose words yourself or let WAM choose it for you. WAM comes with a large collection of words which you can update from our website. You can also select words from any of the millions of web pages as WAM allows you to navigate the internet and identify a web page as source of words.

Feel like cheating, simply turn on the hint mode and a small portal is opened to reveal faint outlines the hidden words. Control the portal by your iPhones accelerometer to pan the portal across the screen to reveal all the words.
