Wind Alert feeds your need for wind information, no matter what wind driven activity you pursue: windsurfing, kiteboarding, kitesurfing, surfing, snowkiting, sailing, paragliding, fishing, kiting, kite flying, or any other sport where wind is critical.

Wind Alert is a free app that provides wind reports, forecasts and graphs from over 38,000 weather stations globally. Search for your favorite wind spots anywhere in the world by city, state, postal code, latitude & longitude, or local beach name. Or tap the "search nearby" button to get a list of spots and their current wind conditions closest to you. Tap a spot in the list and view a detailed graph for the past six hours (observations) and next six hours (forecast). Organize your spots as favorites to access them instantly.

Wind Alert includes data from government (like NOAA buoys, CMAN and NWS stations), academic, and private sources (including CWOP and APRS), as well as WeatherFlows network of hundreds of well-placed weather stations.
