Yachts, whether private or chartered, are the ultimate symbol of luxury, wealth and power.

Reflecting the individual taste and style of its owner, each yacht is unique in design both inside and out—ranging from traditional, conservative designs to those that push the limits of modernism and imagination. Whatever the size, all yachts carry some array of lavish amenities; ranging from hot tubs and saunas, to full spas, gyms and swimming pools. Plush lounges, private cinemas, recording studios, bowling alleys and discos are other grand personal touches owners add to their yachts. In addition, each yacht will harbor its own extensive collection of water sport toys and equipment. Smaller boats (“tenders”), scuba diving equipment, wave runners, fishing gear, Hobie cats, submarines, amphibious vehicles, inflatable islands, sea planes and helicopters are all just part of the onboard equipment.

In “Yachts – 50 of the Largest” we show you a selection of 50 of the 100 largest private yachts in the world. Each yacht is completely unique, and we have included a little information as to some of the interesting features of each yacht as well as the known specifications.
